Ingredients

1 large round sourdough loaf or crusty bread boule

3 tablespoons softened unsalted butter

1½ tablespoons Agni Garlic Pickle, finely chopped

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons finely sliced green onions, optional

1 teaspoon sesame seeds, optional

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F or 190°C.

Using a bread knife, cut the loaf diagonally in one direction and then in the opposite direction, creating a diamond pattern. Do not cut completely through the bottom crust.

Mix the softened butter with the finely chopped Agni Garlic Pickle.

Carefully spread the garlic-pickle butter inside the cuts throughout the bread.

Fill the openings with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Wrap the loaf loosely in aluminum foil and place it on a baking tray.

Bake for 15 minutes.

Open the foil and bake for another 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the top is golden.

Sprinkle with cilantro, green onions or sesame seeds.

Serve immediately while warm and cheesy.
